THE LOCAL ORPHANAGE VISIT

We organized a visit to the local orphanage 'Galip Öztürk Sevgi Evleri Çocuk Yuvası' along with five students in the town of Beykoz, Istanbul on 28th November. We collected some toys, coloring books and crayons from volunteer students to gift the children. We visited the principle of the orphanage and learnt about the institution. Our students asked their questions and we had a small site visit on the campus and took photos.

The goals of the project

In the short term;

our students will gain an in-depth understanding of their peers in the orphanage have a chance to familiarize themselves with their peers who have socially different standards.

In the long term;
our students will share their experiences with their classmates and their families who will also learn about the orphanage and the life there also dissemination of the project will be achieved.
